-Continuation...-

Was just reading through Ming's blog when she mentioned about having a burden for the ministry, the urgency to raise up new leaders...

Indeed the need to have new ushers, TICs, SLs and even CUs is compelling. Our ministry truly has to stop playing catch up but needs to be ahead of the church. If Pastor's vision is to have 20 000 members by end 2004, that means at least another 2 English services. This is truly mind-blowing but also means a chance for all of us to grow more in capacity. All of us in the group have been ample opportunities to learn more but how faithful have we been? Ah...Pastor's message for last week. When 80 mentioned that we have stopped being door ushers just because he did not remind us, it struck me then that why is that so? Of course his question was met with silence.

This is one good reminder that we should be faithful servants of God. Like what God said in my quiet time long ago and has kept me going till today: Be faithful in the little things and I'll reward you with bigger things. Ultimately the prize is not the title of being a TIC, SL or even CU but the satisfaction of knowing that I've tried my best to serve God in the best I can, relying not on my own strength but on His strength...
